Seeds of Sorrow
Wander through a quiet VR garden, inspect floating seeds, and discover moments of Buddhist-inspired reflection.
Play
A tree, a little mist, and seeds suspended in the air. Seeds of Sorrow is a small exploration game about slowing down and noticing what is here. There is no score and no hurry. Walk through the garden, inspect a seed, and take a moment with the reflection it reveals. The seed stays in place, ready to be visited again.
Enter the garden
Choose Play, then Explore 3D to look around in your browser. Drag to change your view and select a floating seed to read its reflection. Select the reflection card to close it.
For VR, open the game in Meta Quest Browser and choose Enter VR. Use the left thumbstick to walk and the right thumbstick to turn in steps. Point at a seed and press trigger or grip to inspect it; you can also move a controller close to a seed and press grip.
The words are original Buddhist-inspired reflections, not quotations attributed to the Buddha.
Stay a little longer
Choose morning mist, warm dusk, or moonlight. Turn on the optional garden sounds, or begin a short sitting and watch the tree grow. Its growth is saved in this browser, so you can return to it later.
A garden in progress
This is a playable work in progress. The next iterations will continue to develop the garden, its interactions, and the experience inside the headset. Desktop exploration is available without a headset; immersive mode requires a compatible WebXR browser over HTTPS.
